Dissociation Prayer

dissociation prayer

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18)

Heavenly Father,

I pray for those who are dealing with dissociation. For those who have been physically, sexually, or spiritually abused may you come to bring healing. May you set the groundwork in place by the power and authority of Jesus of Nazareth to bring healing to the very core of their being and every part disconnected from their soul.

May you bring each part of the person into an environment of healing. Give them the space, time, and energy they need to be brought into wholeness. Call each one by name and design a safe and protective place where they can learn to live, move, and find their being in Jesus. I ask for the Holy Spirit oversee this entire process.

Bring each person into a supportive community. Help them to move beyond the patterns of abuse, so that they can learn healthier ways of being. Show them people they can trust, and who are safe to be around. Let these people be kind, caring and patient individuals who love you, and who want the best for the brokenhearted.

May those who are dissociated flourish in life-giving environments. Bring them into close relationship with you, so that they can know you, and enjoy your presence forever. Teach them your ways, and bring them your everlasting peace. Remind them they are truly loved, and help them to share your love with others.
