Take It Slow In The Snow

getting prepared for winter

This morning we had some accumulation of snow which was unexpected for most drivers.

As we encounter the beginning of a new season, remember to prepare yourself for the upcoming changes.

Take it slow on ice and snow. Give yourself plenty of time to get to where you need to go and try to anticipate unexpected delays, whenever possible.

Every year it appears that it takes time for drivers to adjust to changing road conditions, and this year will probably be no different.

If you are travelling to a new location, I would recommend using Google Maps. It’s a free online device that has helped us to avoid traffic congestion, including accidents.

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for helping us to prepare for changing weather conditions. As we move through this winter season may you keep us safe, and help us to get to where we are going. You always direct our steps, as we look to you. Thank you, for looking after us, especially when we are on the road, and away from home. Amen.
