Saving Money On Groceries

saving money on groceries

This morning we paid only $2.30 for our groceries, and we were able to buy things like steak, chicken, and cheese.

Do you want to know how we did it?

We use optimum points where we actually get points based on our purchases, and we can redeem our points at any time to buy things like groceries.

As of this date, we have over 250,000 points which means we can buy $250 worth of groceries. Our goal is to make these points last as long as possible so that we can be wise stewards of what God has given us.

In what other ways do we save money on groceries?

We bring our own grocery bags because stores normally charge for their bags. We get up early, and we head straight to the meat department where there is often good quality meat on sale at reduces prices. Finally, we don’t buy what we don’t need. We don’t find the need to buy lots of food if we are only going to waste it. So, we try to be wise consumers wherever possible.

If you are also saving money on buying your groceries, please let us know what you are doing, so that others can also be blessed in making wise purchases. Thank you!

Prayer:

Lord Jesus,

Thank you for helping us to buy groceries where we can save money. It is truly a blessing to redeem our points for groceries, to buy good quality food on sale at reduces prices, and to learn how to use our money wisely. Thank you for giving us the mind of Christ in all that we do. Amen.
