Seeking God’s Help

seeking God's help

I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you—the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. (Psalm 121)

If you are seeking God’s help today, may you find Him watching over you, for He promises to neither slumber nor sleep. He will be your shade when the sun is too strong, and your deliverer if the moon casts any shadow over you. He also promises to keep you from all harm, because He is the Lord of your life. Whether you come, or whether your go, nothing will ever separate you from His love, because His love is found in Jesus of Nazareth.

So, find your comfort in the indwelling Holy Spirit, your security in the Rock of all ages (Jesus Christ), and your profound love in your Heavenly Father, who rejoices over you with singing. Amen.
