Capturing Moments With God

When you are able to capture the moment, it can be a tremendous blessing. You can look back to where you were, what you were doing, and remember what you enjoyed about that particular time.

Just as a picture can be worth a thousand words, so can your time be spent with God. You can rest in His presence, share your concerns with Him, and tune into His hearts desire for you.

One way to tune into what God is doing can be as simple as quieting yourself before Him. By finding yourself a restful place, and opening your heart to Him, you can take time to listen and respond to His leading.

As you seek to listen, write down what you hear Him saying. Embrace His words, and savour these moments, as you reflect on what you have written. Share these thoughts with God and ask Him to share something with you.

Take time to think about what you are hearing, thinking, and feeling. There is no need to rush, as you look at what you have written. Let your thoughts, feelings, and words be your expressions before God, as you spend time with Him.

Capturing moments with God can also come as you worship Him in song, enjoy the beauty of His creation, read a good devotional, or even chat with someone else who knows Him.

Please take a moment to share with us what you do to capture your moments with God. Thank you!

Prayer:

Lord Jesus,

Help us to capture those life-giving moments with you, because we don’t want to miss them. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.
