Waiting In The Hospital

waiting in the hospital

Today we are waiting in the emergency ward of a hospital. We have noticed that there is much activity happening: people are chatting, nurses are busy, phones are ringing, and monitors are beeping.

Fortunately, we came with answers to prayer. We were able to be seen quickly by medical staff. Any major concerns have been ruled out, and now we are just waiting for test results from the blood work and a urine sample.

If you find yourself in a similar situation, and you would like prayer, then may you be blessed by God’s presence, and His ability to help you.

Holy Spirit,

Bring your reassurance and comfort to those waiting to be seen by medical staff. Surround them with the peace and perfect love of Jesus of Nazareth. Give them your wisdom and understanding, help them to be seen quickly, to recover quickly, and to be aware of your presence during this difficult time in their lives. To Jesus be the glory. Amen.

David, I’m glad the situation is not a major concern at this point and pray the tests lead to positive resolution.
