Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.” (John 11:25-27)
A great hope and a bright future awaits everyone who believes in Jesus of Nazareth. Death no longer has victory over us, because Jesus holds the keys to life and death, and even though we die, yet shall we live because we have believed in Him.
The reality of our destiny should bring us comfort if we are facing hardship, joy where we are experiencing sadness, and encouragement in the midst of any despair. During these challenging times, we can lean on Jesus for His strength, rest in Him as our peace, and ask Him to remove any fear that keeps us from His perfect love.
We believe that the Father has sent you, and just as you raised Lazarus from the grave, you will also raise us up. Nothing will ever separate us from your love, not even death itself. For you have taken off our grave clothes and set us free to walk in newness of life with you. Thank you for defeating death, overcoming the grave, and restoring us into a complete revelation of your marvelous love. Amen.
