Remain Confident

remain confident

As believers, we can remain confident of this that “He who began a good work in us will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1:6) He continues to remain faithful to us, and He is working out His salvation in us so that we are fully conformed to His image.

In the midst of difficulties, He will remind us to do all things through Him who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). For He is our true vine, and we are His living branches, rooted and grounded in His love. He secures us in His strength and empowers us in our weakness, to accomplish the impossible through Him.

As we draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, we will receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). We can lay down our burdens, be comforted in our sorrows and be forgiven of our sins. He gives us a place to rest when we are weary, to find comfort when we are hurting, and to be fulfilled in His genuine love.

So, be encouraged to lean on Jesus as the author and perfecter of your faith. Let Him refresh you with His living water, secure you in His continued presence, and delight in you as His beloved. When you are afraid, let His peace calm your troubled heart. In the midst of sorrow let His joy be your strength, and when you feel like giving up, turn to Him for His comfort.

Be blessed this day, for you are His child, He knows you by name, and He asks you to remain confident in His love for you.
