Be Encouraged!

be encouraged

Are you in need of encouragement?

Prayer:

I pray that God would strengthen you and place His courage in your heart. If you feel weary, may you encounter His rest. If you feel tired, may you enjoy a good night’s sleep. In the midst of your discouragement, remember to share your concerns with Him. For He loves to hear you speak, and He wants to spend time with you.

If you are sad, let Him wipe away your tears with His words of comfort. If you are afraid, ask for His perfect love to cast out all fear. In the midst of worry, may you seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, for He knows all of your needs. Lay your burdens down, for He cares for you. Don’t worry, for it adds no benefit to your life.

Let His peace calm your troubled heart. Place your hope in Him to find His reassurance. In your weakness, let Him be your strength. In your doubt, remember His promises. If you have sinned, confess it, for He is faithful to forgive you , and to cleanse you of all unrighteousness. Seek Him with all you heart, and you will find Him.

As you wait upon Him, may He will cause you to soar on wings like eagles, run and not get weary, walk and not become faint. He calls you to be strong and courageous for a reason, so that you won’t be afraid nor discouraged, for He goes with you wherever you go. You are not in this alone – He wants you to know that.

May you be refreshed by His presence and encouraged by His love. Amen.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6).
