Perfect Peace

Your Heavenly Father promises to keep you in perfect peace as you remain secure in your position of trusting Him (Isaiah 26:3). Imagine experiencing perfect peace! His peace offers you a contentment and security that is available for you to experience.

In Jesus you have peace, even though you have trouble in this world, but take heart because He has overcome the world (John 16:33). Are things difficult for you? Take courage, because you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loved you (Romans 8:37).

The peace that Jesus gives to you, and leaves with you, means that you do not need to let your heart be trouble, nor do you have to be afraid (John 14:27). His peace is more than a stable environment, but a security in Him that is strengthened by learning to trust in Him.

God commands you not to be anxious about anything. He knows the situation you face, and He wants you to pray to Him. Be thankful, and make your requests known to Him.  As you move in this direction, He promises to give you His peace, which transcends all understanding, and He will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).

Are you ready to pray? Take the next 5 minutes to pray for His peace.

If you don’t know Jesus, you can make peace with God by trusting in Jesus. His death on the cross, and His resurrection from the dead was for your benefit. His peace comes when you accept His sacrifice on the cross for your sin, and you acknowledge Him as your Savior. How can you be saved? Simple: Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved (Acts 16:31).

If you know Jesus, then ask Him to help you to know and experience more of His peace. Talk to Him about how you feel, and what situation is bothering you. Listen for His instruction, and let His Word guide you. Before you know it, you will be experiencing more of His perfect peace, and relying on Him more fully.

Enjoy His perfect peace!
