I want to be transformed by the renewing of my mind, so that I am not conformed to the standards of this world. By doing so, I will be able to test what the will of God is for my life – His good, pleasing and perfect will (Romans 12:2).
I want to think on things that are pleasing to you – things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely – these are worthy of praise (Philippians 4:8).
Thank you for giving me your Spirit, so that I would not be afraid, but be filled with your power, your love, and a sound mind ( 2 Timothy 1:7).
I choose to set my mind on things above, and not on earthly things. For I died and my life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is my life appears, then I will also appear with Him in glory (Colossians 3:2-4).
You have given me the mind of Christ, therefore I set aside my carnal nature, and put on my new nature created in Christ Jesus. My mind is no longer set on the flesh that leads to death, but rather on the Spirit that leads to life and peace (Romans 8:6).
Father, you are transforming my mind. My former life no longer exists – for I am now a new creation; the old has passed and the new has come. To you be the glory! Amen.
