I pray for those who feel exhausted.
For those who feel consumed, used up, and tired out; may you give them your strength. Let them experience your grace around them, renewing and refreshing them. Allow them to sit down, lie down, and rest in your presence as they wait upon you. Replenish and saturate their soul with your love and your kindness.
Minister fully to their well-being. In weakness, may they find your grace to be sufficient, and your power to be made perfect. May they boast in their weakness, so that the power of Christ may rest on them (2 Corinthians 12:9). May they find rest under the shadow of the Almighty, for He is their refuge and fortress, and the God in whom they trust (Psalm 91:1-2).
At the invitation of Jesus may they come to Him: “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls (Matthew 11:28-29).
May the joy of the LORD be their strength, and may you rejoice over them with singing. Refuel them with your love, and replenish with your strength, for they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them (Philippians 4:13). Let them trust you with all their heart, lean not on their own understanding, and in all their ways submit to you, so that you can make their path straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
You are a good Father, and you always take care of your children, even when they feel exhausted, and they need your tender care. Thank you, Father!
