Thank you for creating this day; you are always with me, and you never leave me nor forsake me.
As I reflect back on this day, I choose to remember what brought me consolation: thank you for your comfort, your solace, your delight, and your pleasure in the good things I have enjoyed. For the food I’ve tasted, for the things I have been able to accomplish, and for the people who have encouraged me.
I also choose to remember my desolations: the negative thoughts over people I don’t like; the drain of energy I experienced from lack of sleep, and the lack of motivation I felt in forgetting the things that are important to me. Please give me a forgiving spirit over those who have offended me; give me the rest I need to get a better sleep, and help me to focus on what is important to me.
