May my ways be pleasing to You, LORD, so that even my enemies will be at peace with me (Proverbs 16:7). I ask for a steadfast mind to keep me in perfect peace, because I trust in You (Isaiah 26:3). As I rely on your protection, you will make peace with me (Isaiah 27:5), and it is the work of Your righteousness that brings peace, and the service of your righteousness that brings quietness and confidence forever (Isaiah 32:17).
Thank you for having compassion on me, and establishing your covenant of peace (Isaiah 54:10). May I go out with joy and be led forth with peace (Isaiah 55:12). Forgive me for travelling in the way of the wicked, for they shall have no peace (Isaiah 57:21). There is no justice in the tracks of the wicked, because they have made their paths crooked, and anyone who follows in their ways will not know God’s peace (Isaiah 59:8).
Instead, I turn from my wicked ways and receive the peace of God by making peace with God through the Lord Jesus Christ. May You, Jesus, give me Your peace that passes all understanding and guards my heart and my mind in You (Philippians 4:7).
Thank you, Lord Jesus!
